About

You’re Ready…

To walk in this world as your authentic self. But I hear you – fear and anxiety are holding you back. You’re not alone.

Untangling our emotions and talking about our deepest fears is something no one can explore on their own, being vulnerable is a big step.

You deserve to have the life you dream of and therapy might be the option to get you there; you’re ready.

Here’s what you can expect.

The path isn’t a one-size-fits-all and won’t be easy at times. Many people say it is worth it, however.

I will conduct every session over teletherapy, generally at the same time each week. This type of therapy means that you can have your session from the comfort of your own home or parked car – with your animals nearby and your favorite snacks at hand. Therapy that incorporates your lived space can sometimes accelerate your progress.

One of my hopes for you is for you to be at ease speaking your mind. Sessions employ a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach free from discrimination and bias. Humor is helpful, yes! On occasion, a good meme or video is an excellent way to ease tension. I am a casual counselor, you can absolutely curse in our sessions, eat your lunch, pet your cat. In fact, I often have one (or more) of my 4 animals with me in session as well.

After…

You can be who you want to be in your sessions.

With a continued presence in therapy, that nagging fear and anxiety can become empowerment. Confidence can flow throughout the many areas of your life, and you you may find ease in previously difficult choices.

Many people say that after a while they find that what used to be challenging to talk about is now a “pass the salt” type of conversation. Things won’t feel so heavy anymore.

Let’s start the conversation.

Hi, I’m Kassondra.

My goal is to help you find your true self.

I use she/her pronouns please. As a queer-AuDHD identified person, it is only natural to support my community. I have been passionate about helping queer individuals find their true selves for years now, just as others have helped me find myself in the same manner.

You’ll quickly find that I sometimes I need a helping hand to learn about new TikTok fads and a good overview of the newest hit-streaming drama because I seem to have missed out on the social media gene. I do get there eventually. As an old-school introvert, I am always excited for book recommendations and can chat anyone’s ear off about gemstones and their healing properties; as well as, have a lifelong passion for incorporating shamanism and witchy practices throughout my life.

I received my BA in Art and Mathematics from The Evergreen State College and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University of Seattle for my clinical background. I completed a year-long clinical internship at Seattle Counseling Services, where I served as a staff member. Additionally, I have worked at Providence Regional Medical Center and Crisis Connections.

When I am not working…

I spend time with my partner, cats Francis and Violet, and dogs Mochi and Plum on our small farm in Monroe, Washington. My animals are very dear to me, and they come to sessions, too.
